“Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon,” the company said. “And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed.”
Although details of the accident have not yet been released by authorities, Block posted on his Instagram page that he had been snowmobiling in his ranch in Utah since late December 2022.
Block began his racing career in 2005, competing in national rally events in the United States. He also competed occasionally in the World Rally Championship and various rallycross events from 2007 to 2018.
He later gained fame for his “Gymkhana” videos, where he would drive high-powered rally cars in death-defying and action-packed sequences.
