NMIMS Mat Counselling Procedure

NMIMS counseling consists of two phases: 

preparatory and main. The preparatory phase is a screening test and the main one is an entrance exam conducted by NIACOM (National Institute of Advanced Computer Studies). The main exam includes both verbal reasoning and quantitative ability sections, whereas only the verbal ability section is used for the preparatory test.

 The admission procedure consists of three rounds, which are-

Round 1 Cutoff:

 This is the first round that one has to clear to be eligible for further rounds.

Round 2 Cutoff: 

This round is also known as the qualifying exam and it is generally considered easy than other rounds as there are only three questions here. The correct answers are given at the end of each question so it can take a longer time compared to other questions but if you do not get an answer then you need not worry because there will be another chance after 10 minutes when someone else will try his/her luck with those questions again but this time without any help from anyone else except your resources like pen/pencil etcetera.

Round 3 Cutoff: 

This round consists of ten multiple choice questions where four options are given on each question along with one option marked “No Answer” so if none of them match then don’t worry because the next session will start soon enough…

Documents required at the time of admission

You are required to submit all the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Class X and XII mark sheets.
  • Graduation mark sheet.
  • Graduation certificate.
  • Character certificate (if applicable).
